Scouts visit Police Station
Late last month the Cub Scouts visited the Garden Grove Police Department and got a great guided tour. We were fortunate and told that it was only the second time in 14 years that a police officer actually showed what each police issued item does. Everything from the spike strips they roll out to stop a speeding vehicle to the kids getting a chance to touch the bullet proof vest. It was very educational, and all had a good time, and learning experience.
