Each year Scouts collect cans that are distributed to people in need via The Second Harvest Food Bank.  Every can counts.  For the week of October 20 to October 27, Scouts are encouraged to go door to door with adult supervision and ask friends, family, and neighbors for donations. All Scouts that participated will get a Scouting for Food patch.

Saturday was our annual Raingutter Regatta Race.  We had a great time as the Scouts all raced their boats against each other.

Then the Scouts made hot dogs in the fire pit, and played a little football catch.

All the Scouts that participated got a 2012 Raingutter Regatta patch, and ribbons were awarded for different categories including best design by JJ R. Also, first, second, and third place medals were given out.
