![]() Today members of Pack 75 went on an hour long hike in Peter's Canyon off of Jamboree and Chapman. Everyone got together with someone to use the buddy, system. It was really hot, and the kids wanted to climb up the biggest hill there. We said perhaps when they're Boy Scouts, because we knew after they tried we would be too tired to walk back to our starting point. Our newest member Logan bonded well with his new fellow Scouts. ![]() Today Pack 75 and Troop 75 made a trip to the Big A and celebrated National Scout Day. It was a great offensive game as the Angels had command of the entire game. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed the spectacular fireworks show of Big Bang Friday. Tomorrow, the pack heads to Peter's Canyon for a hike! Bring the essentials, and most importantly water! ![]() Pack 75 has earned the National Summertime Award for continually being active through the summer months and conducting at least one pack event which must be attended by at least half the pack membership. All boys that attended at least one pack event in June, July, and August qualify for the National Summertime Award pin. We had at least half our Scouts at each of these events. So all of them qualify towards the one per month e The events for this were: June 1st, Anaheim Stadium game 2nd, Overnight Camping July 21st Aquacamp at Newport Sea Base 22nd Belt Loop Bazar 22nd Bank Vault tour at Chase Bank August 10th Adventure City Scout Day 18th Aquarium of the Pacific 30th Radio Station tour at KWAVE If your Scout attended at least one of these events per month they qualify for the National Summertime Award pin. ![]() At our end of year pack meeting our Cubmaster Mark Smith, and Assistant Cubmaster Marcus Smith treated us to a great activity of making home made ice cream. Surprisingly it was quite delicious, and everyone was successful in creating a delicious treat. What a great way to mark the beginning of the new Scout Year. Scheduled Recruitments: September 27 at 5:30 PM at Violette Elementary School October 3 at 5:00 PM at Stanford Elementary School October 4 at 5:00 PM at Crosby Elementary School |
