![]() Our weekly meeting for Monday, 08/18/2014 will be held at Bryce's House. Office Kris of the Garden Grove Community Services Department will come and do a safe swim class. The class focuses on how to help pull someone out of a pool without jumping in the water. Most people's instinct is to jump in the water, but on many occasions this puts both swimmers in trouble. At the end of the class Officer Kris will jump in the water with her uniform on and have the kids pull her out the way she taught them. ![]() We will be camping overnight at the Bryan Outdoor Area. This is the outdoor area where we usually meet. Camping will start at 6 PM.
Please note: Scouts may only be inside a tent with their own children. We strictly enforce two deep leadership. This means at least 2 adults registered with the pack or troop must be present. No scout can be out of site with just one adult. They must remain in plain site at all times, and not go behind buildings or other obstructions. For more information on YPT (Youth Protection Training) and Two Deep Leadership go to our training page. Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, let us know.
