Home Depot has officially been added to our #Scout75 event. They will be adding to our event in the form of a workshop designed specifically for kids to do a wooden craft, and learn some new skills. These hands on activities are a perfect fit for Scouting. Scouts participating in the event can do this as an additional activity. Siblings are welcome to join in on building their craft. Thank you Home Depot!

Zachary and his father Jeff visited the Boy Scouts of America National Headquarters and Scout Museum. Good job representing #Scout75. Another great banner to add to our pack flag. It will waive with pride.
What a great Scouting day. Today was a double whammy of great experiences for us.
We had International Scouts visit us for the second year in a row. Last year we had a great visit from Yeppoon, Australia, and today we were blessed by a visit from Westown area of New Plymouth, New Zealand, in the Taranaki region of the North Island of New Zealand. We got an opportunity to exchange patches and other items. We showed them a slide show of our US Scouting.
We were also blessed to have on hand once again, LTC Albert Ayala, and his wife. We were honored when he presented us with a copy of the award we presented to him on behalf of the Normandy, France Council.
Then we all went and made hot dogs and s'mores. Scout 75 always welcomes our International Scouts to come by and visit us. We are so glad you did! Thank you to Russell and Mike for bringing the kids some cultural awareness! Thank you to LTC Albert Ayala for always being a great supporter of the Scouting movement. Thank you for your service!

Tonight members of Pack 75 and Troop 75 had a unique experience. They had a chance to host a 70th Anniversary Normandy Medal Award Ceremony. The award is given out by The Normandy regional government. They have created a medal for any living veteran of the Battle of Normandy (D-Day +100) or who participated in the reconstruction of Normandy after the war.
